Progress at Rogue Artists’ Studios for Manchester Histories Festival 2016

4-26th June 2016

Progress is a site specific exhibition featuring the works of eleven contemporary artists in the evocative surrounds of the grade two-listed Crusader Works. The exhibition marks Rogue Artists’ Studio’s final year at Crusader Mill following the building’s recent purchase and forthcoming development. New and selected  works by 11 members of Rogue Artists’ Studios consider the building’s transitional state and the industrial heritage of the surrounding landscape.

The exhibition coincides with Manchester Histories Festival will invite Manchester residents to view the works in the context of Crusader Mill, offering an increasingly rare opportunity to visit one of Manchester’s undeveloped mills. The exhibition launches with special performances and film screenings on Saturday 4th June, 1-3pm.
